Bridal Alterations

 

Your special day should be celebrated in every moment, so why not celebrate the preparations! Enjoy having your dress fitting in the beautiful Suffolk countryside.
We offer bridal fittings and professional alterations to your wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, mother of bride dress, and groom outfits such as groom and best men suit tailoring.

We offer bridal parties where you can celebrate preparations of your special day. After your fitting, you can visit the local venues, a make up artist, hairdresser, florist, etc or have a meal in the local pub or a coffee in small local café to document these special memories.

Bridal Dressing Service

With our wedding day dressing service, you can relax and enjoy your special day preparations knowing that every detail is taken care of.

A service available exclusive to brides having their gown altered by Milli's Sewing Studio, a member of the team will be with you 2 hours before you plan to put your dress on and will stay with you right up until the moment you walk down the aisle. 

Wedding Dressing Service - £255 (including VAT)

✔ Unpacking and professional steaming of the bride’s dress and veil

✔ Helping the bride, bridesmaids, and mother of the bride get dressed,
ensuring a perfect fit.

✔ Assisting with buttons, zips, lacing, veil, jewellery, shoes, and corsages.

✔ Positioning the gown beautifully for pre-ceremony photos

✔ On-site seamstress with supplies for last-minute repairs

✔ Helping the bride into her carriage or transport

✔ Up to 3 hours of service, fully insured for peace of mind

✔ Travel of up to 20 miles from our Studio in Martlesham included (further afield possible for an additional charge. Please contact for further information)

We're also able to ensure the rest of your bridal party look flawless with steaming services available:

• Bridesmaids' dress steaming: £15 per dress

• Grooms suit steaming: £20 (two-piece) | £25 (three-piece) 

 

 

Our team of seamstresses have extensive experience altering and restyling a huge breadth of occasionwear including evening dresses, bridesmaid and mother of the bride outfits, prom dresses and suiting.

We are capable of working on a variety of materials, including silk, wool, lace, bridal gown appliqué, leather, denim and more. Whether you need a bridal gown or bridesmaid dress alterations, winter coat tailored, plain hem or menswear alteration, or anything in between, we are here to help you with any job that needs resizing, repairing or redesign.

We are altering garments of all natures and sizes. Suits, jackets, trousers, waistcoats, dresses and more. Book an appointment for any number of alterations on external garments.
